Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikant Senthil said the decision will be taken after discussing with Hassan district collectors to allow solid vehicles on Shiradi Ghat Road.
Speaking to media representatives in Mangalore on Friday, he said that he would be able to take buses on Shiradi Ghat Road and check safety measures on the highway and discuss it with Hassan Desi.

Officials of the National Highway Authority and the National Highway Department were held on Thursday (Sep. 27) at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Dakshina Kannada district on the outskirts of Shiradi Ghat Road.
Dakshina Kannada district deputy minister UT Khader had instructed the district collector to take steps to commence traffic commuting with passengers in the Ghat in a couple of days.
Hassan told the Deputy Commissioner that they would take steps to ensure solid vehicle traffic.
