Kozhikode East Hill Kendriya Vidyalaya’s building collapses; Student injured; Parents protest against teachers’ disregard

The student was injured after a portion of the building collapsed at East Hill Kendriya Vidyalaya. With this, parents and students are protesting against teachers’ unrest.The parapet collapsed on Wednesday when the children arrived to wash their hands and wash the vessel. Plus one student injured. No more risk than class time. This is the condition of a building that operates more than half the Kendriya Vidyalayas. The ceiling falls in many places. The 42-year-old building is a faulty building. As the building is in danger, classes have to be paid in several days.
Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has already informed the authorities that the building was in danger. Experts at NIT have also examined the building. The district collector who visited the school also found that the building was in danger. Though the decision to build the building, the fund has not yet passed.
Principal 2 days leave for the higher secondary classes in the Kendriya Vidyalayas, where 3100 students are studying in case of collapse of the building.
