Former India coach Gary Kirsten has set a record for India’s opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan in the second innings of the third Test against England.

Yes, Adil Rashid bowled Shikhar Dhawan [44] in the pavilion to stump out Gambhir Singh’s fame in the attempt to bowl. Dhawan is also credited with being the first batsman in the history of the touring team since England in 1994. Earlier in 1994 South Africa’s opening batsman Gary Kirsten was stumped out of England’s bowler Graeme Hick bowling.
India were all out for 329 in the first innings after they lost the toss. In the meantime, England suffered a 169-run win over Hordic Pandya’s only 161 runs at an average of just 161 runs. India, who started the second innings, were 124 for 2 in their second innings, with 292 runs to spare.
