Pakistan allrounder Shoaib Malik wants to continue in cricket until at least 2020’s Twenty20 World Cup. He said that this goal can only be achieved if a consistent performance is performed.
Former Pakistani captain Malik retired from Test cricket by the end of 2015. However, he was a permanent member of Pakistan’s limited overs cricket team.
“The 2019 World Cup is my last World Cup in one-day cricket. But I want to play until the 2020 Twenty20 World Cup. Twenty-20 cricket is my goal, “Malik said.
“I want to play in two major World Cups. Need to see what happens. If I continue to perform consistently, Malik can participate in this two World Cup, “Malik said.
The middle-order batsman also has Malik off-spin bowling. He has played 35 Tests till date. Pakistan have represented 261 ODIs and 95 T20 Internationals.
