Commonwealth Games: Anish Bhanwala is the youngest athlete to win a gold medal

Indian athletes continue to perform well in the Commonwealth Games. The 15-year-old Anish Bhanwala has won the gold in shooting. Anish is India’s 16th gold medalist.

India won the 16th gold on Friday, the 9th day in the Commonwealth, to match the 2014 Glasgow Games record.

Anish, who was playing the first game, had a men’s 25m on Friday. The Rapid Rifle Pistol scored a total of 30 points. India’s youngest athlete to win a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games.

The 20-year-old shooter, Sergei Eveglsky and England’s Sam Govin, had a tough challenge and Anish 8 remained in the round. Sergey won 28 points and won the silver with Govin (17 points).
