Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a major conference meeting on February 19 and 20, entitled ‘National Conference-2022’ to respond to the crisis of farmers in distress.
The meeting will be held at Pusa Complex in Delhi, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture. Prime Minister will attend the 2-day conference on February 20th.
Chief Minister of Agriculture, Radhamohan Singh, Agriculture Experts, senior officials of the Commission of Policy, Agriculture Officers of the Commission, Head of Agriculture Universities, Farmers and Farmer Organizations will attend the meeting.
The issues of agriculture are being discussed at the first day’s meeting and the report will be prepared based on that day’s talk. The next day the report will be submitted to the Prime Minister. It is intended to facilitate Prime Minister’s policy of forming agriculture policy. Farmers in the country are experiencing high-yields and crops but are suffering from a fall in prices.
